The Platinum Process

"Where do I start?"

We're often asked, "What makes you different from other kitchen remodel companies?" The quick answer is that we listen, we're passionate and we're thorough. These are some of the core qualities that have led to what we call the Platinum Process.

It starts in your home and continues with a follow up meeting at our showroom where we review the design, pricing and tour the showroom. Most potential clients find this extremely helpful and fun. There is no payment expected at this point nor will you ever feel pressure to move forward with us.

It is our hope that at this point we have set ourselves apart and you have an answer to, "How is PKD different?" We invite you to see for yourself.

Design Phase

The design phase of our project includes everything we do before demolition. Starting with your initial consultation and ending with ordering your new cabinetry, we work with you to create a personalized design that will match your lifestyle. This phase is where we help you make all the decisions that go along with a kitchen renovation, including finalizing the new footprint of your kitchen, picking colors and finishes, and deciding what appliances will be installed at the end of your project.

Initial Consultation

We have found that starting in your space, listening to your needs and wants is the best initial approach. We want to hear how you and your family live in order to make the best suggestions that will improve your home life. That's why we offer a free on-site visit before we begin designing...

Start Construction

Meet your project manager, and say goodbye to your old kitchen.

After meeting with your project manager, our team will start the demolition of your old kitchen. At the end of the demolition process, we will transport all trash and debris offsite to be disposed. We will never leave a dumpster in your driveway.

Before cabinet installation, our electricians and plumbers visit the site to move any water lines and wiring needed for the new kitchen footprint. We ask that you are present for the first 30-45 minutes of the electrical rough in to make final decisions on the locations of new light fixtures, switches, and outlets. You do not need to be present for your plumbing rough in, because the location of new plumbing fixtures will be decided long before demolition.

Cabinet Installation

Watch your vision come to life.

The day cabinet installation begins, is the day you begin to see your new kitchen. Up to this point, it will be hard to envision your finished kitchen, but once cabinets are installed your vision becomes a reality and the finish line is in sight.

Countertop Installation

At this point in the process, we are almost at a functioning kitchen! After virtually approving your countertop lay out, one of our fabrication teams will come install your brand new countertops. They will be covered shortly after, to protect them for the remainder of the project.

Electrical and Plumbing Trim out's

After countertop installation our plumber and electricians will revisit the site to install all electrical and plumbing fixtures.
