We decided to hire Platinum Kitchen this past spring to totally gut and rebuild our 20 year old kitchen. The design process was a very good experience. They take all the time you require and provide you with excellent feedback with great ideas . The detailed 2 and 3D cad drawings help you visualize what you decide on and provide you with the confidence of what will be done. While they are an experienced remodeler this process requires patience and ongoing input and communication from the customer to achieve the best outcome. Many subs and tradesmen are required to complete a project like this and they use very good ones who are managed by their own project managers. The final white glove service is outstanding and completes the project to your satisfaction. They are good communicators and honest in dialog. The cost of a project like this is not cheep but their pricing is fair for the level of service they provide. Expect a few changes along the way. We are very happy with our new kitchen, no regrets and would recommend PK&D .

Platinum Kitchens & Design Inc. were simply outstanding. From start to finish they were kind, generous, professional, helpful, fun, patient, and trustworthy. Jen kept the kept the design process fun and was very knowledgeable and skilled at helping us find the perfect way to incorporate our house's 100-year-old heritage into a classic, functional, fun, space with all the modern conveniences of a brand-new house. Adam was an absolute all-star. He was always on-point, had great attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. The kitchen remodel process can be stressful with a lot of unexpected surprises (especially in an old house!), regardless of what we encountered, Adam assured me it was no problem at all and that they'd take care of it--and they did. Despite the numerous other clients he was working with, Adam had a way of making you feel like you're his only--or at least his most important client. Mike was fantastic. He provided great leadership for his company and clients, is passionate about providing people with beautiful, functional spaces to live their lives in, and he's just plain fun (he's a fellow Star Wars fan too so that's a bonus). They made the kitchen of my dreams a reality. It was an absolute pleasure working with Platinum Kitchens & Design Inc. I simply can't recommend them enough!

We highly recommend Platinum Kitchens and Design. We had a fantastic experience from design to completion. The team we had was great! All of the workers were polite, responsive and very professional. They truly transformed the look of our kitchen and adjoining rooms. We have already recommended them to all of our friends!

I love my new kitchen. It was up and running in about 3 weeks much to my surprise and delight. The crew that worked on my kitchen were friendly and didn't stop work at the stroke of 5. They worked until they finished whatever they were working on. I didn't give 5 stars because I'm still waiting for a special hinge for one of my cabinets after 5 months. For the most part, the cleanup was good But it wasn't 100%. They poured chalky dirty water in my grass and neglected to sweep up all of the debris, which I personally swept up because there were nails in my driveway and I didn't want a flat tire. In spite of that fact I would request that same crew if I had another job for PKD. The person sent to care for the punch list was friendly, knowledgeable and capable. My only complaint is that I didn't get an itemized list of what I paid for each item. So far everyone that has seen my kitchen loves it.

We hired Platinum Kitchens to completely renovate our 18 year old kitchen in August of 2017. We are paying our final invoice for a lengthy job well done in January 2018. In fact the only reason I can't give them five stars is because of the length of the project that was driven by two specific segments - Design/Critical Material Procurement & Final Finishing. They have completely mastered the prospectus, autocad design, demo, and cabinet/appliance load-in phases. They do a fantastic job getting you 80% of the way in fact we were demo'd and back up and running with cabinets, major appliances, and lighting in 3 weeks! It was incredible. The only downside is you just "have to keep on um". You have to sweat the details. You have to monitor the progression of your adjustments, the line of your paint trim, the alignment of your cabinets, the finish of your floors, etc. You have to be willing to be friendly and vocal with your PM and the guys they assign to your project (our guys were awesome btw - gladly bought them dinner on several occasions where they worked hard late into the evening). You have to be willing to accept that the first try might not be perfect but to their ultimate credit, the second third and fourth will eventually hit the mark. In the end we were willing to wait for perfection and they were willing to withhold our final invoice until we got there. Absolutely fair. Absolutely would choose them again.

Michael and the Platinum Kitchens and Design Team have delivered the kitchen of our dreams ! We worked with several design teams prior to choosing PK&D and we couldn't be happier. The PK&D Design Studio was stocked with all the latest and greatest materials, design recommendations, and Professionals. The staff was extremely insightful and presented (2) unique design ideas for us to consider. Both design ideas were fantastic and we proceeded with the one we liked best. The timing, delivery, installation, and overall commencement of the Kitchen Install went according to plan. The skill set of Mike's installers is head and shoulders above previous contractors I have worked with. High quality results from high quality folks. Also worth noting that PK&D was not the highest priced firm we review, not even close. Great value for great quality.

We love our beautiful, new kitchen! It is exactly what I envisioned and dreamed of. The Platinum kitchen team was so organized, professional and easy to work with from the very beginning, all the way to the very last day. Their work looks amazing and is very high quality. I still can't believe how fast they accomplished our completely renovated kitchen! I'd do it again a million times and can't recommend them enough!

My wife and I are beyond thrilled with the incredible work done by Platinum Kitchens. From the design, to the home visits, to the professional atmosphere. Everything was extremely well done. Thank you Michael and Samantha for all of your hard work and persistence. My wife loves that it looks beautiful. I love the professional approach that everyone took on completing this project. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly. Corrections were made without a fuss. The communication throughout the project was consistent. As a man, I'm not one to gush over furniture. But I have to say that I LOVE the work that was done and was equally impressed with the professional attitude. Thank you again for all that you've done!!

This might be a strange review, since PK has not actually remodeled my kitchen.... yet. But it is one that I feel needs to be posted. From the very start, Michael and his team have given me the most creative, most professional, most honest contracting experience I have ever encountered in Atlanta. They show up when they say they will, they present tons of "food for thought" on the project, they have the resources (and time) to spend in order to track down ... the perfect piece of granite, the kitchen faucet from the W Hotel in Chicago, etc. A handful of things have caused me to postpone my remodel....but one of those things is NOT Platinum Kitchens. Thank you, Michael, Sam, Jen and everyone in the showroom for a first class, client-centered experience. I'll be back.

Platinum Kitchen and Design far exceeded our expectations! We had two major renovations done to our home prior to this one and while we were ultimately pleased with the results, the overall experiences pales in comparison to PK&D. Our project manager, Juan Kukurelo, and his A-team worked tirelessly down to the smallest detail to ensure everything was done with quality and care. Juan gave valuable suggestions that made the overall space even more beautiful. His communication, follow through and the time of completion by the crew was outstanding. There's nothing we would have changed with the experience and absolutely worth every penny. Thank you PK&D for bringing our vision to life!

We've been enjoying our new kitchen for about a month now. I waited to write a review because I wanted us to have time in it before we provided our review. This would also give us a chance to see how the Platinum Kitchens team responded to punch list items. The short and sweet version is this: We do LOVE our new kitchen. We enjoy every single aspect of being in our kitchen. From start to finish the renovation process was relatively painless. From the initial in-home consultation, the future-state design review, picking out options, etc...you can tell that Michael put a lot of thought into how he wanted to engage the customer to make this as easy as possible for them. Then he assembled a team of designers, construction managers, contractors, etc. that has obviously bought into his vision and executes it very well. If you or someone you know is considering a kitchen renovation, I would highly recommend you talk to Platinum Kitchens before you do anything. They are the standard to measure others against.

I wish I could give them more than five stars! They've exceeded our expectations in every way whether it was Michelle's design expertise and endless patience, Jen's extra efforts to find the tile pieces that were on back order so we could keep the project moving, Elizabeth's responsiveness, or Lauren's enthusiasm and commitment to make everything just right. The work itself was more than I could have hoped for. Luis and his crew worked so hard to make everything perfect. It was as if they were remodeling their own kitchen. Everyone went above and beyond to make this an amazing customer experience. It was a big project, but they are so good at what they do they made it as painless as possible. The quote they gave us was detailed and spot on. There were no surprises or hidden costs, and it was fun to watch them work and see my kitchen transformed! I have been trying to convince my husband to renovate our kitchen and laundry room since we purchased our home 8 years ago. After hearing the Platinum Kitchens commercials on the Fish, my neighbor, Jennifer M, had her kitchen renovated by Platinum Kitchens. She and her husband hosted an open house to show off her new kitchen and I was blown away! After seeing Jennifer's new kitchen, my husband finally agreed to have Platinum come out and give us a quote. Everything from the design, to the selections process, to the construction, was a great experience. Tom and his crew were easy to work with and cleaned up every day that they worked n my house. It was tough, with 2 kids, to eat out and cook in the microwave and the crock pot, but we set up our bonus room with a kitchenette/living room and left the main floor of the house for the guys to work. The best part was the Tom made sure that I had a functioning washer and dryer throughout the project!"

We did not have the space flexibility to redesign our 30+ year-old kitchen so we had everything torn out and replaced including the flooring, baseboard, removing old wall paper and repainting. We also added a cabinet in an empty space and that has really helped with the kitchens functionality. Michael K. had some great ideas and we are very pleased with the results and have gotten lots of complements. The installers and design assistants were great to work with. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because it took 3 months to get someone back to finish up some minor issues but they did not affect our use of the kitchen. If there had been a 4.5 I would have rated them that. I would recommend PK for this kind of work.

No lie, this was a BIG decision for us (after 26 years it was time to remodel our kitchen). We remodeled our 1986 kitchen and, throughout the entire house, installed engineered hardwoods and 5" baseboards. We went into this project thinking we had limited kitchen options. But on our initial visit with Platinum's rep Stacey, she showed us options we never thought about - and affordable! Her design and vision was outstanding. Then we met with Platinum's designer JJ, who helped with all the selections. Awesome experience! Her guidance was invaluable. I was dreading this process, only because I had never done anything like this and was unsure of trends and "what works with what". But JJ made it fun, relaxing and gave me confidence to explore all options. Now we all know anyone can "sell" you something, but what about actual delivery? Our contractors, Dave and Mike, exceeded our expectations! I can't say enough about their honesty; commitment to quality; keeping us updated on next steps and meeting/exceeding all deadlines. Dave and Mike truly work with the customer in mind. Under their leadership, the project to gut and remodel the kitchen along with installing 5" baseboards and new floors throughout the house was completed in the timeline originally stated. Family and friends who have seen, what we call our "new" home, are amazed at the transformation. And we are loving the feel of a new house without having to move!

"We reached out to Platinum Kitchens for a complete kitchen renovation in our home. I love to cook and our old kitchen just didn't meet our current needs. To be certain, any time you are living through a renovation, especially one that is so central to your daily life, it's not easy. We can't even begin to express how pleased we are with PK. Having always bought new homes, this was my first experience with a kitchen renovation. Did quite a bit of research and met with several companies. After meeting with Michael with PKD, my gut said go with Platinum Kitchens & Design. I am very glad I did. The entire group was helpful, friendly, patient and accommodating going through the design and selection process. I wanted to use a company that I have had great success with for the wood flooring and the transitions with them was seamless. The on-site crews were professional, left the home clean and timely. They also did what they said they would do in the time frame that they said they would, even when I threw a curve at them with my selection of tile for the back-splash last minute. The quality and workmanship was solid and am thoroughly enjoying the new kitchen.

the design service was a great help. On time every day, kept us informed along the way, helped us with unexpected issues and did a great job! All of the individuals who worked in our house were the best! These guys know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

After a thorough and long bidding process I selected Platinum Kitchens to remodel my dated 1980's kitchen. While the price was very competitive, I was sold on the beauty and quality of the cabinets. Mike is a straight forward no BS kind of guy. I knew what I wanted and he worked w me in creating the perfect layout and design. He even custom built my island to make it more of a furniture piece. It's absolutely gorgeous. I am a DIY kind of person and he had no problem w me doing much of the labor and prep work on my own, he was very flexible. I would without a doubt use this company again for any future projects. They do beautiful quality work.

The hassle and time of visiting several stores to select cabinets, fixtures, tile, knobs, and counters is eliminated by going to PKD's showroom where one of their designers can help with dozens of options. Your kitchen's details can be decided in less than two hours. Michelle did a fantastic job with our design layout and the up front communication from her team was great.

Our work crew was a delight to work with. Mike and Dave Joiner are a father and son team who have a great group of subcontractors. Everyone was extremely trustworthy and nice, and I had no qualms about leaving my house if needed. Any reno concerns noted were addressed by Mike and Dave and their team. We had a snafu with a counter and some very minor cabinetry issues causing a delay, but everything was fixed and made right. We get so many compliments from our friends.

After many years of trying to figure out what to do with our outdated kitchen, we were referred to Platinum Kitchens by a neighbor. The design reconfiguration we struggled with on our own for years was solved by our PK designer within minutes of stepping into our home. We were so excited to get started after thinking that the only way to ever improve our kitchen was to up and move! From start to finish we were impressed with everyone we met with and especially with the guys sent to perform the work. It was clear that they were not only practiced in the "art" of kitchen renovation but took immense pride in their work and were joyful and often singing and joking with each other while doing so. We kind of missed them when they were done! We spent a little more than we planned by upgrading to quartz counter tops, but we have no regrets. Other than we should have done the project sooner!

Great company and business model. Started with a very productive and cordial in-home, no cost consultation followed by a recommended design presentation at the company headquarters. These people "know kitchens" and optimal designs. My recommended design was tailored to my space, needs, and desires at the right price. Unlike many past remodeling projects, this project was speedy and relatively painless with minimal loss of kitchen use. The project manager and service crew were first class in all respects. They were skilled, fast, and remarkably fastidious. The whole process and finished product exceeded my expectations. "Exceeding expectations" is a catch phrase often thrown about but rarely fulfilled, but this company did just that for me.

Full kitchen remodel? - Platinum is the way to go!

I almost never write reviews usually I don't have time (I am a busy mom of five!) or the service/product was as expected. But I just had to write this review. My new kitchen, thanks to Platinum Kitchens and Design (PKD), far exceeded my expectations! From start to finish, PKD gave us top notch service at an awesome price. The PKD people are both professional and friendly. A full kitchen remodel like we had is a hassle for a busy family, but they made it as painless as possible. With PKD you get professional design services (from the CAD design to getting help with choosing styles, colors, etc.) and professional installation. You even get little extras like actually going to the granite place and picking out your slab(s). Then you can even go to the fabricators and choose how you want the granite cut. You get to choose even the smallest details about the remodel. Everyone treated us like we were VIPs as if we were their most valued customer! I love showing off my new kitchen. Choose PKD and you won't regret it!!

I can't say enough good things about Platinum Kitchens and our experience working with them. From the first meeting with Michelle down the last visit with Juan and his team, it's been a fantastic experience. And our kitchen turned out amazing!!! Juan and his team worked incredibly fast and efficient. From demo day to having a fully functioning kitchen was 3 weeks! I didn't think that was possible. Their attention to detail and their willingness to work with a nervous homeowner was off the charts! I really felt like they cared as much about my kitchen as I did. "One thing leads to another. What started as a kitchen renovation ended up being our whole first floor renovation! PKD not only replaced our worn 18-year old cabinets and counters, but they installed hardwoods throughout our whole main floor, removed our horrible popcorn ceilings, installed new baseboards, crown molding, can lights, chandeliers, and ceiling fan. We feel like we are living in a model home:)

We knew from our first contact with this company that our experience would be excellent. Michael, Jordan, and the rest of the staff communicate well and quickly, often within minutes. The schedule that we were given was kept to the day. We never needed to wonder if someone was going to show up to compete the job.

We can't say enough about Juan, Peter, Julio, and the rest of the guys. They really cared about the finished product, and treated this project as though it was their own. They went the extra mile and spent many a long day at our home working to complete that day's tasks. If you can pick a project manager, pick Juan! He is the best.

The two other companies that we initially contacted for quotes still never gave us a final quote for the project! Funny to think that our kitchen has already been finished by PKD. If you are tired of contractors who won't return your call, or won't show up to give you a quote or finish the job, choose Platinum Kitchens. They are true to their word.

After being frustrated with trying to find a good designer/contractor to help us with our kitchen, I found Platinum Kitchens and Design from a radio ad. They exceeded our expectations from the start. They met with us in our house and then sketched up what their idea for our kitchen would look like. It was so nice to see an actual 3D computer image of what the space would look like before committing to them. The Project Managers that were assigned to our job (Mike and Dave Joiner) were very proficient and professional and let me and my wife know everything that was going on at all times. If I ever threw out a small change to them they worked with us to get it done. The quality of the work is 2nd to none and you can tell its just done right! I very highly recommend Platinum to all my friends and anyone reading this review. You absolutely will not be disappointed. We love our new kitchen and have already gotten so many great compliments on it from friends and family.

We bought an older house that needed the kitchen completely gutted. The first person I met from PK was Julie. I was so happy with her from the moment we met! She took time to walk through my kitchen and hear my ideas and all my wants. She offered her expert advice and was so thorough. The next meeting with Julie was to review the plans she designed for our space. It was at this meeting, that I became really excited! Julie laid out the plans precisely the way I wanted! She is so talented! She was open to my ideas and gave me her feedback. From that day forward, she was available anytime I needed her. I met Sarah next to pick out everything. I would be lying if I said I was not nervous about this step. I went into this blind. I had no idea what I was doing &Sarah was awesome! She is brilliant at what she does and really made the whole process stress free! At that point, we waited for our cabinets to come in and shortly after, our project began! Luis was the project manager assigned to our job. From day one, Luis & his team were professional & available to answer questions at any time. Even when we had hiccups along the way, Luis resolved them quickly and perfectly. Luis and his team became like family to us by the end of all this! They were always so kind & patient, especially all the times my little ones were around ! I couldn't be more grateful for that. Overall, this has been an awesome experience and I will not hesitate to refer my friends to PK. Thank you so much !

The entire process went very well and the team at Platinum was very professional throughout. The work was done on a timely basis and they responded well to every issue that came up. As a former Contractor this was the first time I had anyone do work like this in my home and I am very pleased with the kitchen.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I admit it. I can count on one hand the number of times that a company has completely exceeded my expectations. Platinum Kitchens & Design has truly blown me away during every phase of our kitchen and foyer remodeling. We started by having them visit our home and interview us about what we wanted. They then prepared designs and recommendations along with a pricing estimate. Their design ideas were thoughtful and unique and it was clear to me that they LISTENED to what we had to say. I was impressed from the beginning. Their on-line communication system between customer and project manager is a wonderful tool. We were always able to see where things were in the process and communicate directly with our team. We had the BEST team of guys working with us. Our project manager, Luis K., is wonderful and professional. Anything I asked for (no matter how picky or small) was "no problem" to Luis. He and his wonderful team took care of everything immediately and to our satisfaction. There were no arguments or questions. We were treated like valuable customers at every step in the process. One of the nice surprises in dealing with Platinum, is that the price we were quoted is the price that we paid. In summary, I would HIGHLY recommend Platinum Kitchens to anyone who is looking for a superior company to work with. Their workmanship is excellent in every way and our kitchen is a place that is as beautiful as it is functional. 5 Stars!

Completely gutted and redesigned our 19 year old kitchen. Enjoyed working with everyone from beginning to end. Michael and his team held my hand throughout the whole process, and Mike and Dave managed all the subcontractors quite efficiently. Luxury kitchen at an affordable price! "Words can't express how happy we are. We no longer migrate to the basement at night to avoid our main level.

Leslie at Platinum Kitchens came up with an incredible 3-D rendering and had a very detailed build sheet and work estimate. Once we decided to move forward, Leslie outlined the timeframes and let us know what to expect. Everything happened either on time or ahead of schedule - nothing was behind. The project also came in at budget which rarely happens on a major home project such as a kitchen renovation.

The main level of our house has been completely transformed thanks to Platinum Kitchens. Not only does our kitchen look much better but it is now functional. The closet space that builders pass as a pantry was removed and replaced with a floor to ceiling cabinet with drawers. This effectively tripled our usable space. Several other design features enhanced our kitchen beyond what we could have imagined.

Juan and his crew were super nice. They focused on keeping the rest of the house very clean and do amazing work. He also has some very creative 'detail finish' suggestions that make a great final touch to the project."

We love our new kitchen! Platinum Kitchens did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them for your consideration. Julie T. was our first contact who visited our home. If any one person were to be credited with obtaining our business, it would be Julie. She saw what we had, listened to where we wanted to go and then designed the layout. Jennifer L. helped us in actually getting the cabinets, granite, backsplash, paint, etc. Tom S. and his crews actually did the demolition and installation of a job slated for 6-8 weeks, but the total renovation was completed in 4 weeks. Now were there some glitches, of course. Some created by us, some by Platinum Kitchens. In the interior design area you will need to make your own decisions, they do not tell you what to choose. Platinum Kitchens asks, so have some idea of what you want. Not all crews are of equal performance. The key is to have a project manager that gets you over the bumps. So unless you leave and return to a brand new kitchen, you will experience some of these bumps in the road. Anticipate them and work with your project manager and all will be well. Tom was a professional and worked with us and his crews the entire time. We have a beautiful room.

Our remodel was triggered to provide my wife easier access in the kitchen. The design was great and we enjoyed the design and selection process. The crew was fast, efficient and cleaned up daily. The project completed on time (5 weeks) and with all punch list items completed in the 5 weeks. Good communication from the construction crew chief. The final appearance and accessibility exceeded our expectations.

From design to installation, PKD was spot on. The project and installation teams are second to none

They were very supportive with us through multiple design sessions and a number of "changes" to what we were looking to have done. Once the project plan was finalized, we were given a target completion date of 4-6 weeks. Like all major renovation projects, there were a few hiccups along the way. Platinum stepped in and helped make the necessary adjustments to make things right. In short, they did everything we were expecting, and more. Our final result (delivered in five weeks) was just what we were looking for and we couldn't be happier with the services provided.

We are so happy with our newly renovated kitchen. The Platinum team that worked at our house was wonderful. They worked well as a team, listened and responded to our questions and were quick and efficient workers. They were prompt to follow up on everything on our punch list. They went above and beyond in several instances and I know their goal is always to make the customer happy. They offer redesign ideas and have a designer to work with you as you choose finishes, materials and hardware. They also work with an appliance company whose salespeople are knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a tired and outdated kitchen and will certainly call them again if a future home has a kitchen renovation need. PDK was suggested to us after soliciting another quote to do our kitchen. I was skeptical at first especially after being told we would have to go to their showroom for pricing on our quote. "Because Platinum has assembled everything you need to design your project AND choose materials, my husband and I were able to make almost all the choices for cabinets, pulls, countertops, sink, faucet, backsplash--in a couple of hours. A Platinum designer accompanied us to a granite shop and a tile shop, with a sample of our cabinets. I called PKD for a second estimate to remodel my kitchen. I was so blown away by the design ideas and the way they worked with my budget that they became my choice of contractors. Once the design was complete and the construction began I was even more astounded by the quality craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and the efficiency of work. Even if you try a "do-it-yourself" approach, their product is better at about the same cost. We've had a few follow-up issues, but they returned without question and at no cost.

We used Platinum Kitchens recently to renovate our kitchen, den and powder room. It all started with the kitchen. We were interested in re-configuring the layout, knocking down walls to adjacent rooms to make the design more open. We contacted PK because we knew we needed a design-build firm for this project. Our designer Michelle was very creative and provided a unique design that we hadn't thought of, which worked perfectly for our needs. She provided a very thorough cost estimate that left us feeling confident they had thought of all possible issues that may arise throughout the project. With two young kids, it can a pain to lose your kitchen for weeks, but Platinum Kitchen not only stayed true to their time line they actually finished the project almost two weeks prior to the completion of the job. "The process started with Michael and Samantha coming to the house to measure and give us their insight. A week later we went to the showroom to see what their design/vision was for our new kitchen. We were very hesitant to gut our kitchen, but Luis and his team earned our trust, which is a good thing, since they had to do extensive structural work to level our floors. Mike designed a creative cabinet layout that everyone comments on when they come in our new kitchen. McKenzie was patient with us while helping us pick tile and other color features, which does not come easy for us. They're polite, courteous, communicative, and thorough. "We have the kitchen we wanted, and we didn't know what we wanted. A really great end-to-end experience with Platinum. Throughout, it was a collaboration rather than a transaction. Here's what we loved:

- Great listening. We laid out problem areas, things we needed, what we liked, what we didn't and Platinum designed a kitchen around it.

- Design sketches. After an initial in-home meeting, we met with Michelle and were blown away by the detailed mock-up of what our kitchen might look like.

We recently had our kitchen done by PKD (March20014). Several contractors submitted quotes. The one thing that stood out for PKD was all the work that they did up front on the design and planning. Designer R.Michelle did a fantastic job the design down to the smallest detail. The entire team was focused and professional. Platinum Kitchens was very professional, efficient, punctual, and organized. They prepared a lovely design with drawings that showed in detail what the finished kitchen was going to look like. Their showroom and nearby granite and tile suppliers provided me with all of the samples I needed to select the look that I wanted, with the advice of their designer. The design and installation team at Platinum Kitchens completely transformed our 1970's ranch kitchen! The quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design gave us a beautifully rendered space filled with all the modern conveniences with plenty of room for all our "needs" and "wants."

"Michael Karp did an awesome job with our kitchen. Great design that allowed us to really ""see"" his vision on a full kitchen remodel on a 1965 house. There are definitely cheaper options out there but after they were done we decided it was definitely a great value. Luis from his team also did a great job painting the entire house and refinishing the hardwood floors throughout the house. Some minor details and finishes were overlooked or passed off to other contractors at the end, and there were times where Luis didn't seem to handle pressure well, but overall he still got the major parts of the job done to our satisfaction.

Update March 2016: The back of one of the cabinets on an island came loose - nothing major, just cosmetic - and Michael sent someone out to fix it as it was covered under warranty. They were very professional, and inspected all the other Platinum Kitchen work to make sure everything else was in order. Thank you Michael!!"

We used Platinum for a complete re-design and re-model of our kitchen. The are a top quality operation from design through construction. An experienced group, very easy to work with, and delivered on what they promised. We would do it all over again with them.

We own a 60's ranch in Chamblee. The kitchen was dated to look at and cramped to work in. I had given lots of thought to what I wanted. Mike Karp of Platinum Kitchens came in and listened to my ideas. He proposed a fantastic design - nailed it on the first try. Their designer walked me through picking the cabinets, granite, tile, flooring, pulls, knobs, lighting, paint. Who knew how many decisions had to be made? The renovation crew seemed to have a great time working - they were fun to have in our home. Nothing stumped them; they were clear on everything problem that turned into an additional cost. And they cleaned up every time they left. The craftsmanship in the cabinets, tile backsplash and flooring is terrific. Unbelievably all of the work was done around the two snow events in Atlanta in January/February of 2014. In spite of those missing days, the schedule was 5 weeks and they finished on the Monday of the 5th week - really 4 days ahead of schedule. The project came in close to the original estimate and every overage was explained so that there were no surprises at the end. I have had my kitchen for a month now and it works so well. It is fun to be in the space and convenient to cook in. When I entertain, everyone parks right with me in the kitchen. I won't try to describe how beautiful it is. Look at the attached pictures.

From the design process through construction, we had a great experience. In particular, the crew that did the work was friendly, professional, gave great suggestions and bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied with every detail of the work performed. We recently had our 15 year old kitchen redone by Platinum Kitchens - what an incredible transformation. Our old, white, builder supplied cabinets and laminate counters have been replaced with beautiful new maple cabinets, granite tops, tile back-splash and all new stainless steel appliances. They even refinished our old hardwood floors and repainted our walls. It's like living in a new house! The entire process was on time and within our budget just like they said it would be (we had a bad experience with a bathroom contractor a few years ago and were a little bit scared when starting our kitchen project). We gave Michael and his team a tough task and they delivered! The day that we closed on our house Michael was there to quote a new kitchen and master bathroom. Based on their work, and attention to detail, they were the obvious choice out of several quotes. We then had to design and plan everything from 1,000 miles away so that the house was ready the day that we moved in (and it was ready). Michael, Michelle, and the rest of their team were professional, detailed, and had plenty of great design ideas. I have already recommended them to several other people.

We recently completed what started out as a kitchen remodel (which morphed into an entire first floor-plus remodel) with Platinum. The process end to end was nothing less than professionally handled by the Platinum team: from Mike Karp's awesome planning and design, through Juan Kukurelo's meticulous installation, to Leslie Karp's efficient handling of all residual details. Through the job, Juan and team made several recommendations for additional work, all of which improved upon the initial plan and tied other pieces of the house into the renovation. The end result was not only an amazing new kitchen, but a transformation of the bulk of our living space that we will enjoy for years. Having undergone this type of work in previous homes, I'm confident in giving Platinum the highest rating possible, their work is simply that good.

Platinum Kitchens renovated my 14 year old kitchen in August 2012. It is now May 2013 and I am still loving it. There is not one thing I would change. Michelle made an initial site visit, listened and observed to get a feel for our needs, and made excellent practical recommendations. I did not feel she was trying to upsell me at all. Bill Stein, the contractor, had the patience of Job, was always on time, cleaned up at the end of every day and offered great advice as well. These people are all top-notch, have great taste and most importantly, trustworthy. Their prices and quality are MUCH better than you will get at the big box stores. Platinum Kitchens has completed two projects for us. They provided high quality bathroom cabinets in both our master and main floor bathrooms, and since we were so impressed with their work, we hired them to do a complete kitchen remodel. We met with their designer who helped us with our design selections. They were able to give us multiple designs using their CAD software which gave us quite a few options on our layout. Changes were quickly added to the design to give us even more layout options. A full selection of cabinet colors, glaze, window glass, and drawer pulls were available at the showroom and we saw several cabinet examples in the showroom that provided ideas for us and further enhanced the design of our bar. Now our old white kitchen has been transformed to a beautiful 2-tone contemporary kitchen, where we enjoy family gatherings and entertaining. The team members are patient, professional and caring. For years all I've heard from friends are remodeling horror stories. This is NOT one. I did a make-over of my 17 year old kitchen with upgrade to bigger cabinets, real wood, tile and back-splash trim, granite tops, recessed lighting etc. Plus had them refinish my wood floors, upgrade my powder room and my staircase from carpet to wood. A desk area was converted to a dry bar. The crews were friendly, clean, professional, efficient, on-time, and very hard workers putting in 9a-9p days a few times! They kept the house as clean as could be expected. I was shocked and pleased with how they have it down to a science to make it as little disruptive to your life as possible. This is my first house and first project of this kind so Mike and Leslie at Platinum needed to hold my hand and baby me through it, and they did! It was very pricey I am not going to kid you, but not over-priced. And it came in on time and on budget with quality! The complete opposite of all the horror stories I've heard over the years about remodel projects. I highly recommend this company and these people. I've already referred them to some neighbors.

I first reviewed Platinum Kitchens in June, 2011 and this is just an update. Our kitchen was finished in May 2011 and now that everything has been reorganized and we have lived with it for almost 6 months it's fantastic. We love all elements of this new kitchen. Mike is very good at helping you visualize your new kitchen, things you might want to do. The quality of the cabinets for the pricing I paid was very good. Leslie is a help with the finishing touches, options etc. The only thing I would do separately would have him manage all of the subcontractors for the tear out and then completeing the whole job.

Recently renovated our master bathroom and needed new cabinets. I first went to an outfit that sells cabinets from China. The cabinets were fine and really inexpensive, but I had to provide my own installer. I saw a commercial for Platinum Kitchens and gave them a call. The price for what I needed was a little more, but the quality was superior and they have their own installers. Well, I made the right choice.
